Ceremonies and Services

Wedding Ceremonies with Open Belief Scotland

As part of Open Belief Scotland, an agnostic belief group, I can conduct various ceremonies, including legal wedding ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies, vow renewals, and celebration of life events. As an open group, you can have the ceremony reflect who you are and whatever is meaningful to you, including memorial services to honor loved ones.

Celebration of Life & Memorial Services

Losing a loved one is always so hard, but a celebration of life service is an uplifting and comforting way to say goodbye, all centered on your loved one. Just as we cherish moments in life, like baby naming ceremonies, vow renewals, and wedding ceremonies, memorial services provide a heartfelt way to honor those who have passed.

Baby Naming & Welcoming

Baby Naming & Welcoming

Welcoming a new baby or child into the family is always a cause for celebration of life, and baby naming ceremonies are a modern and beautiful way to honor this joyous occasion. Just as we celebrate weddings and vow renewals, these ceremonies create a meaningful moment to introduce a new person into your world.

Whether you are celebrating a special anniversary or looking to say 'I do' all over again, vow renewals are a beautiful way to honor your love. Just as baby naming ceremonies mark the beginning of life, and memorial services celebrate cherished memories, vow renewals serve as a heartfelt celebration of life and enduring commitment in your wedding ceremonies.

Whether it is pet memorials, adoption ceremonies, or memorial services, helping to consecrate a new cemetery, or celebrating significant moments like baby naming, vow renewals, or wedding ceremonies, I can assist you in marking those moments and creating a ceremony that truly fits.

Celebrancy is the best job in the world, and I run an introductory course for those who are considering entering this most rewarding career, which includes officiating at wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, baby naming ceremonies, celebration of life events, and memorial services.
