I am Susan Fraser and I have been loving conducting ceremonies since 2008.
After a career in the arts, and then in IT,
I started conducting weddings for my local Registrars Office.
I loved everyone of those weddings, but I knew I could do so much more, and wanted to move forward to do this full time, and conduct other types of ceremonies too.
I finally followed my heart. left my job, and set up Independent Ceremonies.
I have never looked back for a moment and now I am one of the most experienced independent celebrants in Scotland!
The best thing about my job is that no two days are ever the same. One day I might be meeting a new baby and talking over a naming ceremony to be held in the garden, next day it could be a couple wanting to renew their vows on their Golden Wedding, the day after I could conducting a woodland burial under the open skies.
No two people, no two families, no two couples are ever the same, and every single one, deserves, and receives my individual and personal attention to making sure that their ceremony or service is exactly right for them.
Whatever you have in mind, whatever your questions, whether it is about a ceremony or service, about celebrant training, or even some whole new idea, then please just get in touch.
I'm always happy to talk through whatever you might want, without any obligations at all.
I look forward to talking to you.
So that you can be confident in the service I provide you, I am insured and regulated by the Scottish Independent Celebrants Association. I was honoured to be the Chair of SICA from October 2019 to October 2021.
SICA is a network of independent celebrants who help and support each other. SICA also peer reviews all it's members to ensure high standards. SICA provides continuous professional development opportunities throughout the year too.
In addition, I also hold a Disclosure Scotland Certificate. Testimonials and references from previous clients can be supplied on request.
